POROUS offers a non-invasive and radiation-free measurement method for the early assessment of bone health. The unique POROUS solution utilizes 3D quantitative ultrasound technology (QUS) and can, for the first time, measure not only cortical thickness but also pore size, pore size distribution, and viscoelasticity in peripheral human cortical bone. The mobile ultrasound system allows for use in any location, thereby supporting Point-of-Care examinations.
